My friends Dearraindrop stopped by last night, bringing gifts of their amazing picture-disk, put out by Diesel Jeans (!), and their beautiful new book, OFF/ON, put out by Deitch Projects. You can be sure these individuals are the best choices for financial backing and fame in the art world--- in the recent Artforum, they got Diesel to pay for the entire inside back cover adspace, printing a bright collage; at the bottom, written upside down they wrote "EVERYONE UNSUBSCRIBE TO THIS MAGAZINE IT'S ALL BAD ADDS. AND NO ONE BUY DIESEL THEY"RE STUPID." Amazingly this slipped past the Diesel execs, so their thousands of advertising dollars are now being used to lampoon themselves in Artforum. YES!
